 Doris
L. (Heiland) Grab, 79, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, May
11th, 2009 at Manor Care in Lancaster. Born in
Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary J. (Dorley)
Heiland. Doris was married to Charles T. Grab on August 14th,
1948
Mrs. Grab was
employed by the American Seed Company as a File Clerk where she
retired. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
Surviving are
her husband, one daughter, Mary Anne, wife of Robert V. Helm of
Willow Street, two sons, Thomas M. Grab of Lancaster, David M,
husband of Susan Grab of Bainbridge, six grandchildren, seven
great grandchildren, one brother, Leo J, husband of Margie Heiland
of Conestoga, several nieces and nephews. Doris is preceded in
death by a daughter Barbara E. Jennings who passed away in
September of 1984.
A Mass of
Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May, 15th,
2009 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church 558 West Walnut
Street, Lancaster, PA 17602, at 11AM with Rev. Michael J. Grab as
Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery,
Bausman, PA. Contributions may be made in Doris' memory to Manor
