Ruth E. Flick, 96, of Conestoga View, Lancaster, PA passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2009. She was born in Lancaster to the late George Fitzgerald and Rose (Fritch) Fitzgerald.

She was the wife of the late Herbert C. Flick, Sr. who passed away in 1990.

Ruth was a lifelong Cabbage Hill resident and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Ruth was a homemaker. She enjoyed her family, especially her great and grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Donald G. Flick, husband of Betty, of Willow Street, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, sister, Florence Fitzgerald Ziegler, and a brother Russell Fitzgerald. Ruth was preceded in death by a son, Herbert C. Flick, Jr., brother, George Fitzgerald, brother, Richard Fitzgerald, and a sister, Betty (McKinsey) Fitzgerald.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 from St. Joseph Catholic Church 440 St. Joseph St. Lancaster, PA 17603 at 1pm with the Msgr. Thomas Smith as Celebrant. A closed casket visitation with the family will be held at the church from 12noon-1pm. Final farewell and commendation will take place from St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's memory to the St. Vincent De Paul Society for the Poor c/o St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arrangements made by Charles F.
