Frank
Felizzi, 74, of Lancaster died Sunday, October 25, 2009 at his
home, surrounded by his family. Born in Coatesville, he was the
son of the late Joseph P. and Mabel M. Detweiler Felix. Frank was
married to Joyce M. Gigl Felizzi for 54 years in August.
Frank was a
Machinist, Tool and Die Maker for 25 years at Kerr Glass and 15
years at Kelloggs.
He was a
member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, where he was an
usher for over 30 years. He was a longtime committee chairman of
St. Anthony's Boy Scout Troop 18. He was a 4th degree
Knight of Columbus, Chapter 867. Frank served his country in the
United States Marine Corp from 1952 to 1955.
Surviving
besides his wife are five children: Vince husband of Lynn Felizzi,
Lancaster, Mark R. husband of Sue Felizzi, Bucks County, Keith A.
husband of Tracy Felizzi, Lancaster, Karen wife of Paul Forney,
Lancaster, Alan M. Felizzi, Columbia, SC, 18
grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, three sisters: Christine Gring, Rawlinsville, Frances wife of Jack Skiles, Fort Myers,
FLA., and Gloria Grumbine, Egg Harbor, New Jersey.
Mass of
Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic
Church, 501 E. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA on Thursday, October
29, 2009 at 11:00AM with the Rev. Daniel Mitzel as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. There
will be a viewing at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and
Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA on Wednesday Evening from
6-8:00PM with the Rosary recited at 7:45PM. Please omit flowers.
