Tidings of Comfort and Joy'
Terry
PJ, Erinn and Elizabeth,
We cannot imagine what you have gone through and what you are
going through now. I am sure it must be the hardest thing
you've ever done. We are praying that you will know God's grace
and His kindness. He loves you and holds all of you and your
wife/mom in His hands even now. We do not understand why He
allowed her to suffer and why she had to go so soon, but we do
know that the One who died for us is able to be trusted with our
lives. I know that you already know how great of a mom and wife
you had, but I just wanted to let you know that she blessed me
so many times with her thoughtfulness, unselfishness and
generosity. May God comfort you and guide you.
Love, Gina
Sorry to hear of Denise passing. Hope that
you will be able to find the peace and comfort of Christ, as
only he can give to us during this emotional time. I'm sure
that you all did a fine job caring for her in her last days.
Rejoice in the Lord, she is now with her savior, and that is
difficult I'm sure at this time, but as time progresses that
will give you more comfort than you are able to imagine now.
May God continue to shine in your lives as you face each new day
without her here. Many blessings! Lori Freeman from the Freeman
Family
Wow, I couldn't believe this when I saw "Aunt
Niecy's" picture in Lancaster's Newspaper online. She used to
babysit me when I was a toddler into kindergarten age...I
remember when she had her first baby girl and all! I remember
asking her where babies came from, and she told me her leg :)
She always knew what to say, and when to say it. Both of her
girls had the most curliest hair I'd ever seen!
I have fond memories of playing in the family's backyard,
swimming in the baby pool as well. She was also so uplifting
and pleasant to be around. I still can't get over this...Mr. PJ,
I'm even sure if you remember me, but my mother's name was Donna
Sheffield. I will miss her terribly and to her sweet daughters,
my prayers are with you. You're mother was a gem, and I thank
God for having her in my life. I so wish I could have seen her
before I moved to North Carolina, as I didn't even know she was
sick.
I can't possibly understand what all you're going through, but
trust God's hands are over the entire family. And if I could
have made it up to Lancaster this weekend, trust me, I would be
there with you all tomorrow.
Sending my love,
Alisha Stokes-Sheffield

is in a better place and not having any pain or suffering.
Please call if you need anything. Your friends

We didn't have a long time to enjoy our
friendship with Denise, having met her through a "Life Group"
from our church just a couple of years ago. But, Denise quickly
became a treasure we will always remember, as she shared her
life and love so freely with us. She was a testimony of the
Lord's strength during these last months, and we look forward to
being reunited with her when we, too, go to be with our Saviour.
We will pray for strength and comfort, for you, Bob, for your
daughters, and, also, for the entire family. Our prayer will
also be for a bonding that comes when loved ones face loss, and
know that Denise would have liked nothing better than to know
blessings came through her passing. We will miss her, but know
that she is safe in His arms.
Love from us both,
Ed and Carlene Hutchins

I just wanted to say how sorry i am to hear
about Denise. i know we haven't seen Denise or the rest of the
family in yrs, but when my mom called and told me about Denise
passing i was shocked. and i still am.. I suddenly was overcome
with memories of when we were so much younger living back at the
lake, we were usually with each other at my house or hers,
same with the skip, and fred, Brian was little then, not that we
were alot bigger, then the family moved out of the lake, and i
lost my bestfriend i really missed denise when the family moved,
yeah are parents kept in touch for awhile we went to visit them
one time, and Denise and i were running from our brothers and
climbed over a fence and my shirt got caught and ripped, of
course it wasn't just any shirt it was one i made for home ec
and hadn't been graded on it yet, so of course since it was
ripped i failed that marking period..but we had fun... i just
wish we would have stayed more in touch with each other.so
anyway, at least now my mother and Mrs. Lefever can stay in
touch since they live closer to each other now ( and didn't now
it) then they did back the,,
like i said i'm truely sorry for your loss, and my thoughts and
prayers are with you. Carol Waltman
We never met you but have met your wonderful
daughters. You should be proud
