Jean L. Dahr, 90, of Lancaster, died Friday, November 27, 2009 at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center.  Born in Harrisburg, Jean was the daughter of the late John and Wilimena Martin.  She was married to Harry E. Dahr, who died in 1980. 

 Jean was a 1940 graduate of William Penn High School in Harrisburg.

She was a member of Leola United Methodist Church.  A homemaker, Jean loved cook outs with her family and grandchildren, enjoyed embroidering, spending time with her friends and playing bingo. 

 Jean is survived by her children, Marla L. Haynick, and Ethel M. Dahr, with whom she lived, of Lancaster, and Stanley E. Dahr of Arcadia, FL, 4 grandchildren, 7 greatgrandchildren, and 1 greatgreatgrandson, MJ.  She is preceded in death by her grandson, James Haynick.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, December 7, 2009 at Leola United Methodist Church, 7 W. Main St., Leola, PA 17540.  A viewing will be held at the church from 10 until 11 AM.  Interment will be in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.  Charles F.
