 Daniel
B. Cowdrick, 60, of Lancaster, PA passed away on July 5, 2009 at
Lancaster General Hospital after a battle with throat cancer. He
was the son of Mary (Barrett) Cowdrick and the late Daniel R.
Cowdrick.
Daniel was
born in Philadelphia, PA on March 17, 1949.
He was of the
Methodist faith.
He graduated
from Germantown Academy, Philadelphia, PA and Penn State
University.
Daniel served
with the US Navy as a 2nd Class Petty Officer and was a
Navy Corpsman. He was stationed at the Willow Grove Naval Air
Station and Point Mugu Naval Air Station in California.
Daniel enjoyed
baseball and football, especially the Philadelphia Phillies and
Eagles. His hobbies included gardening, planting, and collecting
natural herbs. He also loved dogs.
Surviving in
addition to his mother, is a friend Lisa Mullaly, of Lititz, PA,
cousin Gerald Kurtz husband of Nina, of Fairless Hills, PA, cousin
Sandra Pincik, wife of Charles, of Langhorne, PA and many loving
cousins.
Funeral
