It was with great sorrow that I read about
John's passing. I haven't seen John in some time and when I
heard about this I knew vanning has lost a wonderful member and
I lost a great friend. My condolences to you Lorraine. I hope
you stay in touch with your vanning family. We love you. And
John, Keep On Vannin' Brother.

John and Mary, Russ & I want to let you know

I was very sorry to hear of John's passing. I
enjoyed working with him very much. He was a great guy. He is in
a better place now with out any pain. He will be missed by
everyone at Lititz Planning Mill. John and his family will be in
my thoughts and prayers.

I have only known John for a short time, a
year and a half or so, but I'm glad I did. His charming
personality made him immediately likable. I knew his time was
limited and I made a point to talk with him every time I saw
him. Not because it might be the last time we spoke, but because
I always wanted to.

entire family. I worked with Zack at QVC, and always looked
forward to his big, friendly smile, and kind ways. He will

"The
love of my life, my best friend, my hero, lost his life to
pancreatic cancer of Sunday, October 4, 2009". He left behind his
wife, Lorraine Coldren, and beloved dogs, Rufus and Bitz. He is
also survived by his parents Mary and John Coldren; and his
brother Robert Coldren. He was predeceased by his sister, Janet
Fitzkee-Miller. He was last employed by Lititz Planing Mill and
previously worked for Howmet-Alumax-Alcoa. John was the president
of the Flyin' Dutchmen Vans. Always a "vanner", John loved working
on his custom vans, especially his latest, "Plum Loco". John truly
loved his family of fellow "vanners". The family wishes to thank
all of you for you love, prayers, and support.
