Mary DiDio Cacciola, 96, of Lancaster, PA passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at St. Anne's Retirement Community. She was born in Tampa, FL and was the daughter of the late Isadore and Theresa (Puzzillo) DiDio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rocco J. Cacciola, who passed away in 1980. They were married for sixty-one years.

Mary was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.

Before moving to Lancaster she was employed by the York Suit Company, York, PA for many years. She then worked for the Hager Department Store as a Sales Clerk. 

She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, and reading.

She is survived by two children, daughter, Michelina J. Campisano, of Lancaster, son John R. Cacciola, husband of Doris, of Goodyear, AZ, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James J. Cacciola, brother, Louis DiDio, sister, Jane Card, and son-in-law Dr. Peter J. Campisano.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church 2111 Millersville Pk. Lancaster, PA 17603 on Tuesday October 13, 2009 at 11am with the Rev. John Acri as the Celebrant. A viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10-11am. Final Farewell and Commendation will take place from St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
