June Louise Burnett, 86, died on Sunday, November 1, 2009, at the Mennonite Home, Lancaster, PA. Born in Bluefield, WV, June was a daughter of Jesse and Dalrymple Ramage. June moved from Newark, DE, to Brereton Manor Guest Home in 2003. She was a member of Newark United Methodist Church and had been a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church, Bluefield, WV. After retirement she was very active with the Newark Senior Center. June was supervisor of the first activity center for cognitively impaired adults operated by a Delaware state agency and worked within this community program for 20 years. June is survived by her five children: Marsha Burnett, Newark, DE; Donna Burnett, Washington D.C.; Diana DeLucca and husband Ken DeLucca, Millersville, PA; Beth Burnett and husband David Eichinger, W. Lafayette, IN; and Steve Burnett and wife Dee, Hockessin, DE, and her five grandchildren: Amanda and Emma Burnett, Hockessin, DE; Nathan and Jacob Eichinger, W. Lafayette, IN; and Julia Scheib, Millersville, PA. A Viewing at 1 p.m. and Funeral Service at 2 p.m. will be held on Friday, November 6th at the Mercer Funeral Home, 1231 W. Cumberland Road, Bluefield, WV. Interment will follow at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Princeton, WV.
