 Carrie
L. Aurand, 95, of Lancaster, passed away, Monday, February 9, 2009
at Conestoga View Nursing Home. Born in Sugar Creek, OH, she was
the daughter of the late Harold L. and Myrtle (Blickens-Derfer)
Logsdon. She was the wife of the late Ned F. Aurand who died in
1970.
Carrie was a
member of the First Presbyterian Church in Strasburg and the
Lampeter Fire Company Auxiliary Club. She enjoyed playing bridge,
watching golf on t.v. and the outdoors.
The last of
her immediate family, Carrie is preceded in death by 2 sisters;
Gertrude Shaw and Mary Laderach.
In lieu of
flowers memorial contributions can be made to the First
Presbyterian Church 101 S. Decatur St. Strasburg PA 17579.
A Funeral
Service will be held Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Charles F.
Snyder Funeral Home 414 E. King St. Lancaster 17602 at 2 p.m.
Family and Friends will be received before the service at the
funeral home from 1-2 p.m. Interment will follow at Riverview
