Joe served in the US Navy and was a veteran of WWII. Following his service to his country Joe graduated from Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre PA with a bachelor’s degree. He was employed by Nestle Foods for 38 years holding various sales leadership roles during his tenure. Woznitski had a passion for the outdoors. As a young man he raised champion field beagles and homing pigeons. Joe enjoyed fly-fishing, tennis and golf and was a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus and a member of Knights of Columbus council #10827 of St. James Parish. Surviving besides his wife is a son Harry A. Nobel and his wife April L. Nobel of La Grangeville, NY and 2 daughters, Sandra C. Woznitski of McLean, VA and Laura J. Woznitski of Greenwich, CT. In addition are three grandchildren, Tracy Ellis of Winter Springs FL, and Alyssa and Harrison Noble of LaGrangeville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church 505 Woodcrest Dr. Lititz PA on Wednesday May 14th at 11am with Rev. James O’Blaney as Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30am until 11am. Joe’s final resting place will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carverton, PA.
