Craig D. Sweigart, 52, of Lancaster died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, February 28, 2008.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Raymond H. Sweigart of Lancaster and the late Miriam E. Maser Sweigart. Craig was retired from Burnham Corp. in Lancaster and a graduate of Manheim Township High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was an avid NASCAR fan and his pride and joy was his restored 1981 bright yellow Ford Escort. He enjoyed Eagle’s football. He enjoyed his daily lunch with his friends at Midway and his Saturday morning breakfast with his family. He will be greatly missed. 

Surviving besides his father is a daughter, Crystal Tilman, a granddaughter, Chyna Tilman, and a sister, Vicki Ellmaker. He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother, Keith Sweigart, and brother in law, Donald Ellmaker.

 Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
