John
D. Shaub, 50 of Lititz died Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Lancaster General
Hospital of cancer. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the
late Donald and Virginia Jackson Shaub. John was married to
Barbara Rhodes Shaub for nine years.
He was a graduate of Hempfield High School and an avid
outdoorsman. He was a member of the 30th PA Company E
re-enactment group of the Civil War.
Surviving besides his wife Barbara, is a son, Calvin R. Estes,
a sister, Donna Feldman, a niece Shawna and a nephew, Sean.
Services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral
Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Wednesday,
April 16, 2008 at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private at Memory
Gardens in Ephrata. There will be a viewing at the funeral
home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. Contributions may be
sent to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln
Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602 in John's memory.
