An avid golfer, he was a former member of Conestoga Country Club. His other memberships included Elks Club,where he was the past Exalted Ruler, American Legion, and Lamberton Masonic Lodge #476. Jerry was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, where he was head usher for 40 years. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Surviving is are two sons : Gerald Jr. husband of Dorine Offenbaker of Lancaster, Terry husband of Darlene Keemer of Willow Street, two daughters: Deborah Huslin of Millersville, Debra Call of Lancaster, four grandchildren: Jessica Keemer, Scott Keemer, Tarah Call, Randi Wolf, four great grandchildren: Cassidy, Kyle, Tyler, Chloe, and a brother; Robert Offenbaker of Newark, Ohio. Jerry was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. A funeral service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George Street, Millersville, PA on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00AM. Flowers will be received or contributions may be made in Gerald’s memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O.
