Surviving besides his wife is a son, Mark Everette Muir of Woodbridge, VA and his future daughter in law Rose and granddaughter, Harmony. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Nicole Marie Muir. A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 31 S. Duke Street, Lancaster, Pa on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 2:00PM. Contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, Pa 17603 or to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel. |

L. Muir III, 62, of Lancaster died Friday, May 23, 2008 at
Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he
was the son of the late William L. Jr. and Stella Smith Muir.
William was the husband of Marguerite Mitchell Muir for 41
years. He was the network Administrator for Social Security
for 30 years in Woodland, Maryland. He served his country in
the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Holy
Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster.
