Charles
Edward Lusk left this earth December 14, 2008. He had the
privilege of passing away at home with family. He was born
August 4, 1938 in Columbia, PA. He was the only son of the
late Garland and Dorothy Lusk. He graduated from Columbia High
School in 1956 and enjoyed playing on various sport teams.
After high school he served his country by joining the Air
Force for 4 years. He proudly graduated from York Junior
College with an Associates degree and then graduated from
Elizabethtown College with a BS degree in 1969. Throughout his
work career, he worked for RCA, Warner-Lambert, Yellow Freight
and Kellogg's. He also had several entrepreneurial pursuits
and businesses. He was a member of the St. James Catholic
Church in Lititz, the International Grain Miller's Union,
National Rifle Association, and Lancaster Treasure Hunter's
Club. He loved raising pigeons and had a passion for
Volkswagens and the Bull Terrier Rescue Club. He enjoyed
nature and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He appreciated
history and was a great adventurer: from archeology to scuba
diving for treasures to wilderness hunting expeditions and
searching for silver in Mexico. He will be remembered for his
love and dedication to his children's successes,
determination, perseverance and his ability to dream big.
Charles was married 45 years to Nancy Spangler, his loving
wife who took care of him through his illness to the end. He
is survived by his lovely wife Nancy Marie, his daughter, Anne
