Richard Kintzi, 91, of Lancaster, died after a brief illness on Saturday, January 5, 2008. Born in Eastern Europe, he was the son of the late Peter and Maria Kintzi. He was married to Lilli Kintzi for 49 years prior to her death in 1998.   

Richard was a retired professional engineer for Armstrong Industries. He and Lilli enjoyed traveling the world.  He was an active member of the former Bethel Mennonite Church. He loved spending time with his son, Harry, and family.        

Richard is survived by a son, Dr. Harry Kintzi, married to Jane, of Lancaster, two grandsons, Andrew, married to Jennifer (Canfield), of Lititz; Martin, of Plantation, Florida; a granddaughter, Rebecca, of Rutherford, NJ; two brothers, Ernst and Otto; and two sisters, Ilona and Feliciae.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Richard’s Life Celebration in a memorial service on Friday, January 18 at 11:00am at Wayside Presbyterian Church, 600 Stony Battery Road, Landisville, Rev. Steven Fritz officiating. Friends may pay their respects to the family from 10:30 am until time of service. All are invited to a luncheon at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Richard’s memory to Lancaster Emergency Medical Services Association, 100 East Charlotte St., Millersville, PA 17551
