Sarah (Kanish) Duing, 86, of Lancaster passed away at her residence on Tuesday May 6^th,2008. Born in Vintondale PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Kostenyak) Kanish. Sarah was the wife Charles A. “ Red” Duing to whom she was married for 60 years.  

Mrs. Duing was employed by Bell Telephone as an Operator and Service Observer for 30 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. 

Sarah was preceded in death by a daughter Cynthia A. Duing who passed away August 1^st, 1981 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 9^th, 2008, St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, 170 Charles Rd. Lancaster PA 17603 at 1PM with Fr. Daniel Mitzel officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made in Sarah’s memory to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church 501 East Orange St. Lancaster PA. 17602. Arrangements by the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home Inc.
