Michael graduated from Manheim Township High School in 1978, and from Daytona Beach Community College. He worked as a machinist, and then owned his own business, The Auto Corral, on Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster. He loved boating, and working on automobiles. Surviving in addition to his father, are three sons, Wesley Michael Clair, Matthew Augustus Dracoules, and Jonathan Michael Dracoules, sisters Rochelle “Skip”, wife of Roy B. Clair of Lititz, and Carol M. Dracoules of Melbourne, FL, brothers Harry L. Dracoules of Mountville, and Edward A. Dracoules of Lancaster, three nieces, four nephews, two grandnieces, and three grandnephews. Michael is preceded in death by his mother, brother, Augustus Edward Dracoules, and nephew, Alan Charles Spaulding. Michael leaves a family who loved him and will miss him, especially his father Augustus who never gave up hope for Michael. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel Inc., 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Alexander Goussetis as celebrant. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 until 8 PM, and again on Monday from 10 until 11 AM. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s memory to Water Street Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 7267, Lancaster, PA 17604, or Mental Health Association of Lancaster, 630 Janet Ave., Lancaster, PA 17601. |
