John
Doman 83 entered into eternal rest on Sunday March 23, 2008 at
Lancaster General Hospital following a brief illness.
John was born in Lancaster, PA, son of the late John Walter
Doman and Clara Barber Doman, and graduated from Lancaster
Catholic High School in 1943. He proudly served his country in
the Armed Forces during WWII, earning a purple heart. John
worked for the Denver Mint in Co. before returning to
Lancaster County to work as an Optical Technician for the
remainder of his career. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed
traveling, and above all he had a remarkable sense of humor.
John was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a
sister. John will be deeply missed by Richard G. Weiss and his
Family.

A Mass of Christian
Burial will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008 at St. James
Catholic Church 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz 17543 at 1030 a.m.
with Rev. James O'Blaney as
celebrant. A viewing will take place at the church from 930
a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Conestoga
Memorial Park. Arrangements by Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral
