Julia (Curet) Colon, 68, of  Lancaster, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2008 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Eugenio Curet and Quitina Burgos. She was married to Francisco Colon on May 17, 1954. 

Mrs. Colon was employed as a laborer at a food processing plant in New York before she retired and moved to Pennsylvania. 

Surviving besides her husband are her two daughters; Zelma Cotto and Minerva Alicea both of Lancaster, one son, Jimmy Colon of Poughkeepsie NY, fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one sister, five brothers. Mrs. Colon is predeceased by two sons, Edwin and Francisco Jr. 

A viewing will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home Inc, 414 East King Street, Lancaster, PA, 17602 on Friday, March 7, 2008 at 7- 9PM. The Rosary will be recited at 8:30PM. Funeral services and Interment are scheduled for a later time in New York.
