Mary Alice Boyer, 72 of School Valley Farms, Neffsville entered into rest at home with her family present on February 20, 2007. Born in Mohnton PA, she was the daughter of the late Isaac N. and Edna Mae Gerhard Lewis. Mary Alice was the wife of LeRoy L. Boyer and they celebrated their 53^rd anniversary, January 1, 2007.

Mrs. Boyer was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lancaster. She graduated from Mt. Penn high School and Reading Business Institute. She worked for Kay Jeweler’s in Reading and after moving to Neffsville, she worked as a cashier at Manheim Township Middle School for 28 years, before retiring in 1997. Mary Alice was a charter member of Pagoda Rambler Camping Club in Reading. She enjoyed camping, traveling to Hawaii, Alaska, and Florida, especially Disney World in Florida. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Surviving besides her husband are three daughters: Cynthia wife of Daniel Shurer of Forrest Hill, MD., Mandy wife of Dennis Enterline of Mountville, Mary Beth wife of Michael Wojciechowski of Ephrata , Pa. and  five grandchildren; Amy, Brian, Sarah, Kyle,and Bethany. 

Funeral services will be held at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lititz Pike and Delp Road, Lancaster, Pa. on Saturday at 10:00AM. Interment in Schaefferstown Cemetery in Schaefferstown, Pa. A viewing will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00-10:00AM. Please omit flowers, contributions may be made in Mary Alice’s memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P. O.
