Goldie V. Nye, 70, of 103 Swarthmore Drive, Lititz entered into rest Monday , Feb. 5, 2007, peacefully, while holding the hand of her husband, Robert, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

Born in Broadway, VA, she was the daughter of the late Earl Weldon and Anna Carr See.

Goldie was a 1954 graduate of Manheim Township High School. She enjoyed reading, traveling, playing bingo and spending time with her family. 

Surviving besides her husband are three children: Donna Barnett of Tuscaloosa, AL, Delene Brown of Lititz, Dennis Nye of Lancaster., four grandchildren: Robert, Jon (Chop), Ronnie, Kim., four great grandchildren: Sam, Lizzie, Shawn II and Cathrine, a brother, Robert husband of Donna See of Lancaster, sister in law Kay See of Lancaster . She was preceded in death by two brothers Raleigh and Wilmer See and a grandson, Shawn Barnett.

Funeral services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel 3110 Lititz Pike ,Lititz on Thursday at 11:00AM. Interment in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7:00-9:00pm and on Thursday morning from 10:00-11:00AM. Please omit flowers.
