Nancy M. Shissler, 82 of 237 Pine Street, Lancaster, Pa. died peacefully on Monday, November 26, 2007 at Pleasant View Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Anna Nauman Heiler. Nancy was the wife of Richard F. Shissler Sr and they celebrated 63 years of marriage April 24, 2007.                                     

Nancy was a homemaker who loved flowers and enjoyed the beach in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters: Bonnie L. Fanringer companion of Henry Tobias of Manheim, PA., Cheryl A. wife of Greg S. Carmany, of Mount Joy, PA., a son, Richard F. Shissler, Jr. of Lancaster, PA., seven grandchildren; Beth Kamerman of Iowa, Scott husband of Angela Kamerman of York, Gail Hunter of Lancaster, Jill wife of Jason Ripomonti, Blake Shissler of Lancaster, Brie wife of Rodney Garber of Mount Joy, Shea Carmany of Mount Joy, two great grandchildren; Jorney Alber of Iowa, Christian Kamerman of York, a brother; Richard Heiler of Willow Street, Pa., numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Adamire. 

A private family memorial service will be held at Pleasant View Retirement Community Chapel on Thursday at 6:00PM. Flowers will be received or contributions may be made in Nancy’s memory to Southern Care Hospice, 340 Highland Drive, Mountville, PA 17554.  Arrangements by the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home.
