Lawrence J. Bickel, age 53, of Lancaster, died Saturday, October 13, 2007, at Lancaster General Hospital following a short illness. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Kenneth L. and Evelyn M. ( Edinger ) Bickel. He is survived by two brothers, Robert Willauer, husband of Janet and James Willauer, husband of Beverly, both of Lancaster, PA and a sister Barbara Knecht of Nazareth, PA. 

Larry was a graduate of Lampeter- Strasburg High School. He was formerly employed by Wescott Electric Company as an electrician. As a member of the Susquehanna Sports Car Club of Lancaster, he enjoyed racing GT6 and TVR sports car and TVR sports cars and participating in other club functions.  

Among his hobbies were playing Texas Hold-em poker, cooking and collecting model 1/8 scale race cars.  

He was an organ donor to the Gift of Life program. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contribution be made to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA, 17602
