Mr. Coca was employed for 15years with the New York Housing Authority working in the Maintenance and Heating Plant operations. He retired as a Foreman of Housing Caretakers. He was a member of the American Legion in Harrisburg. He was an avid bowler with the Blue Ball Lanes Senior Citizen bowling league and the Rocky Springs Senior League. He was a member of the Faith Community Church of God in Denver PA. He served in the United States Marine Corps, and was awarded the Korean Service medal and ribbon, and United Nations medal and ribbon. Surviving in addition to his wife are his son Hector M. Coca Jr. of Manhattan NY.; three grandchildren, Joey Jimenez, Milisha Jimenez, Hector David Coca all of New York; Seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Miriam Coca, a sister Anna Coca, and a brother Enrique Coca. |

Services will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. 414 East King St., Lancaster, at 11AM. Friends will be received from 10AM until the time of service. Interment in Mellingers Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Hector's memory to American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603, or American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603. |
