Mary Kennedy Prince, 83, of Millersville, PA, formerly of Pleasant Mount, PA died Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Essa Flory Hospice Center of Lancaster, PA.  She is survived by her Husband of 58 years, Robert John Prince. 

Born August 4, 1923 in Honesdale, PA, the daughter of the late Bert and Iva Kennedy.  She was a Teacher for 33 years in Pleasant Mount and the Forest City School Districts.  Mary was a 1941 graduate of Pleasant Mount Vocation School and a 1945 graduate of Mansfield State University with a degree in Home Economics. 

Surviving besides her Husband, are a daughter, Marlene Mary Schnieder of Cary, NC; and two Sons, Dr. Frederick Paul Prince, Plymouth, NH, Kerry John Prince, Stoneboro, PA and seven grandchildren. 

Also surviving are three Sisters, Ruth McAndrew, Vandling, PA, Dorothy Dorflinger, Waymart, PA and Lanita Fries, Aldenville, PA.   

She was preceded in death by one Sister, Helen Moase; two Brothers, Claude and Bert Kennedy. 

She loved spending time with her Grandchildren and her family and enjoyed reading, walking, sewing, baking and canning. 

A viewing will be held at the Jones and Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main St, Forest City, PA on Thursday, January 18 from 1 – 4 PM.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 19, 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Edwin Giles officiating.  Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Forest City. 

In lieu of flowers, the Family requests memorial contributions in Mary’s memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
