Edward
Tokarick, 79, of 410 West Lemon Street, Lancaster, died
November 21,2006 at Beverly Care, where he was a patient.
Edward was born in Saint Clair, where he resided until seven
years ago. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen
and Anna (Bardzak) Tokarick, and also by his brother John Sr.
of Lancaster.
He graduated from Saint Clair High School in 1945. He was a
lifelong member and trustee of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Greek
Church, St. Clair. He was also a member of Annunciation Greek
Orthodox Church, Lancaster. He retired in 1992 from the United
Metal Cabinet Company in Pottsville, Pa.
Edward enjoyed traveling and was active in several groups
promoting the Rusyn/Lemko culture.
He is survived by two nephews, John of Lancaster, and Stephen,
of Chevy Chase, Md.; niece Kathleen (Hupka) Hartnett, of
Wilmington, Del.; and other cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on
Sunday evening November 26, 2006 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at
the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, Inc. 3110
Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. The Parastas will be held at 7 p.m.
The Devine Liturgy will be held on Monday morning at 11 a.m.
at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, 254 North
Mill St., St. Clair PA, 17970. Interment will be in Immaculate
Conception Cemetery, St. Clair.
