Mary B. Hershey, 87, formerly of Lititz, died peacefully on July 18, 2006 at Pleasant View Retirement Village.  Born December 3, 1917, she was the daughter of Sheldon S. and Bertha A. Sylvis Bertz.  Her husband Henry M. Hershey Sr. preceded her in death.  She graduated form Lancaster Catholic High School in 1924 and was a member of St. James Catholic Church.  She was originally a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. 
Surviving her is one son Henry M. “Butch” Hershey Jr. companion of Elaine Bair of Lititz; two daughters, Mary E. wife of Dennis Bortz of North Bend, Washington; and Kathleen Campbell wife of Marty Campbell of Lititz; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Perry, Sheldon, Paul, Dick, and George Bertz.

Mrs. Hershey’s funeral will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel Inc., 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, Pa on Monday at 11AM.  Interment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10-11AM.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
