Mary E. Horst, beloved mother,  93 of 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster entered into rest on April 1. 2006 at Brethren Village. Born in Warwick Township, she was the daughter of the late Clayton G. and Mary Beck Fry. She was the youngest of twelve children. 

Mary was married to the late John Dussinger and had two daughters, Marilyn  Louise and Mary Ellen. She married the late Edgar C. Horst  in 1946 and raised a stepson Clarence. 

After her children were grown, Mary began painting and worked in several different mediums.  She painted landscapes in oils using both palette knife and brush and as she got older she used water colors for her art work.  Mary won first prize in the Fourth of July Art Show at Ephrata. She won prizes in exhibits at the Ephrata Fair and other events and had a show at the Lancaster General Hospital. 

Surviving are two daughters, Marilyn  Huehnergarth of Lancaster, Mary Ellen wife of Paul Lundahl of Westminster, MD. , a daughter in law Margaret Horst of Quarryville, Pa. Six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Clarence Horst, six brothers and four sisters. 

Funeral Services will be held at Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike , Lancaster, Pa.  on Wednesday at 10:30 am.  Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Thursday at 11:30am. A viewing will be held at Brethren Village Chapel on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary's memory to Alzheimer's, 3544 N.
