Virginia A. Striggle, 80, of Conestoga View, Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2006.

Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. Brown and Harriet Adams Brown.

Virginia was the wife of the late Benjamin P. Striggle. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed reading, TV, bingo, and trips to Ocean City, MD.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon D. Todd, wife of Leon B. Todd, Jr., Manheim and Rhonda G. Sample, wife of Kenneth E. Sample, Quarryville, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also, sisters Arline Kendig, Lititz, and Olive Esworthy, Columbia, and three nieces survive her.

Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Virginia’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 202, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
