Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Nellie B. Faulk Schneider. He was married to Sylvia J. Reed Schneider and they celebrated 64 years of marriage on May 10, 2005. Paul was a graduate of the Old Boys High School and a 1949 graduate of Lehigh University earning his BS in mechanical engineering. He worked for Armstrong World Industries, Kerr Glass Manufacturing, and AMP, Inc. of Harrisburg, as a design engineer when he retired in 1985. Mr. Schneider played drums with the Bobbie Troupe Band at the Log Cabin in the 1940’s. A veteran of WWII, he served in the US Army Air Corps stationed in Sioux City, Iowa.
Surviving besides his wife is a daughter, Sylvia E. wife of James E. Laudenglos of Pequea. His brother Charles preceded him in death. Services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George St. Millersville, on Friday at 1:30PM. Friends may call from 12:30 until the time of service. Private Interment Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
