Jeffrey Jay Jones, 44, of 623 E. Marion St., died unexpectedly in Millersville on Saturday, March 25, 2006. 

Born in Lancaster, Jeffrey was the son of Robert E. and Florence I. Holmes Jones of Lancaster.  A graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School, he was a truck driver by trade. 

He was honorably discharged as a private from the US Army.  He was of the Catholic faith.

Jeffrey enjoyed walking his dog, “Bear”, fishing, bowling, and was a sports fan.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is survived by a son, Justin M. Jones of Quarryville; sisters, Jan M., wife of Steven Lentz of Lititz, and Mary C. Jones of Lancaster; brother, Robert E. Jones Jr., of Lancaster; and maternal grandmother, Ellen I. Holmes of Lancaster.

Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
